Another huge problem is lawyers. Quite frankly we need a constitutional amendment that no lawyer can be in the executive or legislative branch. If you were ever a BARed attorney that should be automatically disqualifying for service in any legislative body. Allowing lawyers to write more laws is letting the fox into the henhouse.
It’s the mindset that, “only politicians can govern” which guarantees our one way ticket to hell. The fact that we only elect politicians into office is the problem. It takes millions of dollars to run for office and it’s wrong thinking all around. Politicians will sell their souls to get elected…….and many do. Term limits. Cut their benefits.
Well written. Now you have my curiosity about Jagoff". That word is "Pittsburghese", at which I am fluent. It is also used in some parts of Chicago. Because of its similarity to " jack off", it is thought offensive by the uninformed. A new editor of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette from Massachusetts, David Shribman, banned the use of the word. This got hilarious responses from other local papers. The Beaver County Times used some form of the term 19 times in a single article, suggesting that Shribman has "Jagoffphobia"
